ARMS (Shield) INTERPRETATION:
Per Fess - (Means the Shield is divided in half horizontally)
Ermine - (Means the 1st (Top) half of the Shield is Ermine (the white winter fur (brown in summer) of a member of the Weasle family)(Note: even though very common in North America, I've only seen one in my lifetime - in Washington State, USA (about 50 years ago))
over Gules - (Means the 1st half of the Shield is Ermine & the 2nd (bottom) half is Red (Gules))
the 2nd charged with a Fish Naiant - (Means a swimming (Naiant) Fish is added to the Red (Gules=Red - 2nd color) portion of the Shield)
Or - (Means the Fish is Golden (Or=Gold))

CREST (Helmet) INTERPRETATION:
Non - (Means no known Crest was deScribed to be affixed by the Torse (wreath of cloth with 6 twists, alternating between the primary tinctures) together with the Mantling, to the Helmet, which is drawn in profile with the Visor closed, or with no Visor nor Grilles - the kind used by a "Bürgerliche" (Esquire/Commoner/Citizen))
