ARMS (Shield) INTERPRETATION:
Azure - (Means the Shield is Blue (Azure=Blue))
a Key Bendways - (Means a Key is added to the Shield & is oriented (viewers) top to bottom, left to right (Bendways))
between two Roses Or - (Means the Key is placed between 2 (Heraldic) Roses that are colored Golden (Or=Gold) (the Key is also Golden(Or) as it takes on the primary metal tincture of Gold))

CREST (Helmet) INTERPRETATION:
On a Torse of the colors - (Means the next thing to be deScribed will go above a cloth Wreath (Torse) of 6 twists, alternating between the primary tinctures)
Between a Vol Azure - (Means "something" (a Star) will be placed between a pair of uplifted Wings conjoined at the base (Vol) & colored Blue (Azure))
a Mullet Or - (Means a Golden (Or) 5 pointed (not specifically deScribed = 5 points) Star is what will be placed between the wings of the Blue Vol)
the Vol wings Charged with a Rose of the Shield - (Means each Wing of the Vol has Golden (of the Shield (Or=Gold)) Roses (Heraldic Roses) placed (Charged) upon them. This Crest is then affixed by the Torse (together with the Mantling) to the Helmet, which is drawn in Profile with the Visor closed, or with no Visor nor Grilles - the kind used by a "Bürgerliche" (Esquire/Commoner/Citizen))

Star (Mullet) - (Divine quality from above)
Vol (Wings) - (Swiftness, protection, celebrity, or coverture)
