REFERENCE SOURCE:

ARMS (Shield) INTERPRETATION:
Azure - (Means the Shield is Blue (Azure=Blue))
upon a bend gules - (Means "Something" (Stars) to be deScribed next is to go upon a Red (Gules=Red) wide diagonal "Strip" (Bend))
three mullets(6) argent - (Means the "Something" that goes upon the Bend is 3 Silver (Argent=Silver) 6 pointed Stars (Mullet(6))

CREST (Helmet) INTERPRETATION:
On a Torse of the colors - (Means the next thing deScribed will go upon a cloth wreath (Torse) of 6 twists, alternating between the primary tinctures)
Between a vol azure and gules - (Means the next thing deScribed will go between a pair of uplifted Wings conjoined at the base (Vol) of which its Dexter (its Right (Viewers left)) wing is Blue (Azure=Blue) & the other wing is Red (Gules=Red))
a mullet(6) argent - (Means the thing that goes between the Wings of the Vol is a Silver (Argent=Silver) 6 pointed Star (Mullet(6)) - this is then all affixed by the Torse (together with the Mantling), to the Helmet, which is drawn in Profile with the Visor closed or with no Visor nor Grilles - the kind used by a "Bürgerliche" (Esquire/Commoner/Citizen))

SYMBOLISM:
Bend - (Defense or protection)
Star (Mullet(5)) - (Divine quality from above - Old heraldic device)
Star (Mullet(6)) - (Divine quality from above - Old heraldic device, usually drawn like a "Star of David")
Vol (Wings) - (Swiftness, protection, celebrity, or coverture)

Argent (Silver) - (Peace and sincerity)
Azure (Blue) - (Loyalty & truth)
Gules (Red) - (Military fortitude and magnanimity)
