ARMS (Shield) INTERPRETATION:
Gules - (Means the Shield is Red (Gules=Red))
two demi-vols addorsed argent - (Means 2 Silver (Argent=Silver) Dexter (viewers right) halves taken from 2 pairs of upraised wings (a demi-vol is the right half of a vol) and joined "back to back" (addorsed) are added to the Shield)
accompanied in chief by three annulets of the latter 2 and 1 - (Means 3 Silver (Argent=Silver (of the last color)) rings (Annulets) are added (accompanied) to the Shield in the top portion (Chief) and arranged as 2 rings "side by side" & 1 ring below them ("2 & 1"))

CREST (Helmet) INTERPRETATION:
On a Torse of the colors - (Means the next thing deScribed will go upon a cloth wreath (Torse) of 6 twists, alternating between the primary tinctures)
A Vol argent - (Means a Silver (Argent=Silver) pair of uplifted Wings conjoined at the base is affixed by the Torse (together with the Mantling), to the Helmet, which is drawn in Profile with the Visor closed or with no Visor nor Grilles - the kind used by a "Bürgerliche" (Esquire/Commoner/Citizen))
