ARMS (Shield) INTERPRETATION:
Azure - (Means the Shield is blue (Azure=Blue))
upon a bend or - (Means the next thing deScribed will go upon a wide diagonal strip (Bend) that is
Golden (Or=Gold))
a lion sable - (Means a Black (Sable=Black) Lion is what goes upon the Bend)
CREST (Helmet) INTERPRETATION:
On a Torse of the colors - (Means the next thing deScribed will go upon a
cloth wreath (Torse) of 6 twists, alternating between the primary tinctures)
Between a Vol per pale or and azure - (Means "something" (a Star), to be deScribed later, will go between
a pair of uplifted Wings conjoined at the base (Vol) which are divided in half vertically (Paleways) & colored Golden (Or) on the viewers
