BLAZON (Wappen der Familie Senger):
ARMS (Shield):

Quarterly azure and argent, upon the first three mullets of the second, upon the second upon a mount vert a bear rampant sable
CREST (Helmet):
Non
MANTLE (Decken):
Not deScribed (Mantling is seldom deScribed unless other than the Primary Tinctures are to be used)

MOTTO:
None recorded (It is rare for the German Achievement to deScribe a motto)

REFERENCE SOURCE:
Armorial General by J.B. Rietstap

ARMS (Shield) INTERPRETATION:
Quarterly - (Means the Shield is divided into fourths, called "Marshalling" - the Fathers Arms would occupy the 1st & 4ht quarters, and the Mothers Arms the 2nd & 3rd)
Azure and Argent - (Means the 1st & 4th quarters are Blue (1st Tincture = Azure=Blue) and the 2nd & 3rd are Silver (Argent = Silver))
upon the first, three Mullets of the second - (Means 3 Stars (Mullet = Star (of 5 points if not deScribed otherwise) will go on the Blue (1st color deScribed) 1st (and 4th) quarters of the Shield & will be Silver (Argent=Silver (2nd color deScribed) The orientational attitude wasn't deScribed, so "best fit" was used)
upon the second, upon a Mount Vert - (Means something (to be deScribed next) will go upon a grassy green (Vert=Green) mound (Mount) & it all goes upon the Silver (Argent=Silver (2nd color deScribed)) quarters (Upon the Second (& 3rd))
a Bear Rampant Sable - (Means, in profile, standing on one leg, a rampaging, (Rampant) black, (Sable) male (unless otherwise deScribed) Bear stands on the grassy green mound on the 2nd (and 3rd) quarters of the Shield
(the Bear was patterned ("Heraldically") after a North American Black Bear))

CREST (Helmet) INTERPRETATION:
Non - (Means no known Crest was deScribed to be affixed by the Torse (wreath of cloth with 6 twists, alternating between the primary tinctures) together with the Mantling, to the Helmet, which is drawn in Profile with its Visor Closed, or with no Visor nor Grilles - the kind used by a "Bürgerliche" (Esquire/Commoner/Citizen))

SYMBOLISM:
Bear - (Strength, Cunning, Ferocity in the protection of kindred)
Mount - (Symbolism unknown - just something for the bear to be on)
Star (Mullet) - (Divine quality from above; mark of cadency of the 3rd son)
Colors:
Argent (Silver) - (Peace and sincerity)
Azure (Blue) - (Loyalty and truth)
Sable (Black) - (Constancy, sometimes grief)
Vert (Green) - (Hope, joy and sometimes loyalty in love)
