ARMS (Shield) INTERPRETATION:
Quarterly - (Means the Shield is divided into fourths)
1st - (Means the 1st (viewers top left 1/4) and 4th (viewers bottom right 1/4) quarters are going to be deScribed next)
Per chevron throughout azure and or - (Means the 1st & 4th quarters are divided by a Chevron (Per Chevron) that extends from top to bottom (Throughout) and is colored Golden (Or) on a Blue (Azure) background)
2nd gules three roses bendways argent - (Means the 2nd (and 3rd) quarters each have 3 Silver (Argent=Silver) Roses (Heraldic Roses) arranged diagonally (Bendways) upon them)

CREST (Helmet) INTERPRETATION:
On a Torse of the colors - (Means the next thing deScribed will go upon a cloth wreath (Torse) of 6 twists, alternating between the primary tinctures)
A Vol - (Means a pair of uplifted Wings conjoined at the base)
per fesse - (Means the Wings are divided in half horizontally)
the dexter azure and or - (Means the Wing to the viewers left (Dexter) is Blue (Azure) on top & Golden (Or) on bottom)
the sinister gules and argent - (Means the top half of the Wing to the viewers right (Sinister) is Red (Gules=Red) & the bottom half is Silver (Argent=Silver) - this Vol is then affixed, by the Torse, together with the Mantling, to the Helmet, which is drawn in Profile with the Visor closed or with No Visor nor Grilles - the kind used by a "Bürgerliche" (Esquire/Commoner/Citizen))

Vol (Wings) - (Swiftness, protection, celebrity, or coverture)

Gules (Red) - (Military fortitude and magnanimity)
Or (Gold) - (Generosity)
