two cocks heads erased and collared sable - (Means 2 black (Sable=Black) Rooster heads (Chicken heads if not otherwise deScribed) with black Collars - the heads have been torn off at the neck (Erased)
combed and wattled gules - (Means the Comb (Top of Head) & Wattle (Throat "Sack") are to be colored Red (Gules=Red))
The Heads both face Dexter (Viewers left) if not otherwise deScribed by the Scribe


CREST (Helmet) INTERPRETATION:
On a Torse of the colors - (Means the next thing deScribed will go upon a cloth wreath (Torse) of 6 twists, alternating between the primary tinctures)
A Vol sable - (Means a pair of Black (Sable=Black) uplifted Wings conjoined at the base (a Vol))
- this Vol is then affixed, by the Torse, together with the Mantling, to the Helmet, which is drawn in Profile with the Visor closed or with No Visor nor Grilles - the kind used by a "Bürgerliche" (Esquire/Commoner/Citizen))
