Gules - (Means the Shield is Red (Gules=Red))
three annulets argent - (Means 3 Silver (Argent=Silver) Rings (Annulets) are to be placed upon the shield)
within each, within a plate of the last, an annulet of the first - (Means the 3 Silver Rings (Annulets) each have a Red (Gules=Red (of the 1st=1st color mentioned=Gules=Red)) Ring (Annulet) placed inside each Silver Ring (Annulet) & the Red Ring is further placed inside a Silver Roundel (Plate))
one and two - (Means 1 of the Silver "Circles" (with its Red Ring inside it) will be in Chief (the top third of the Shield) & the other 2 will go in Base (the bottom third), which is opposite of the usual (default) arrangement of 2 up & 1 down - Note that the 2 Annulets in base could have been drawn in any arrangement (vert., Horiz., or Diag.) as it wasn't specifically deScribed, but horizontal is the usual orientation for 1 & 2)


CREST (Helmet) INTERPRETATION:
Upon a Torse of the colors, An annulet gules - (Means a Red (Gules=Red) Finger Ring (Annulet) is affixed by the Torse (wreath of cloth with 6 twists, alternating between the primary tinctures) together with the Mantling, to the Helmet, which is drawn in Profile with the Visor closed, or with no Visor nor Grilles - the kind used by a "Bürgerliche" (Esquire/Commoner/Citizen))
