Argent - (Means the Shield is Silver (Argent=Silver))
between a chevron gules - (Means "something" (to be deScribed later) will go between a Red (Gules=Red) Chevron)
three fleurs-de-lis two and one - (Means 3 fleur-de-lis are the "something" that the Chevron was placed between & their arrangement (two and one) is 2 in Chief (top 3rd) & 1 in Base (Bottom 3rd of Shield))
of the latter - (Means the fleur-de-lis are Red (the last color mentioned (of the latter)))

CREST (Helmet) INTERPRETATION:
Non - (Means no known Crest was deScribed to be affixed by the Torse (wreath of cloth with 6 twists, alternating between the primary tinctures) together with the Mantling, to the Helmet, which is drawn in Profile with the Visor closed, or with no Visor nor Grilles - the kind used by a "Bürgerliche" (Esquire/Commoner/Citizen))
