Ermine - (Means the Shield is Ermine (the white winter fur (brown in summer)
of a member of the Weasel family)(Note: even though very common in North America, I've only seen one
in my lifetime - in Washington State, USA (circa 1950 or so))
a Chevron - (Means a Chevron will be placed upon the Shield in the usual place & orientation)
Sable - (Means the Chevron is colored Black (Sable))
