ARMS (Shield) INTERPRETATION:
Per Fess - (Means the Shield is divided in half Horizontall (by the Fess))
argent over azure - (Means the Shield is Silver (Argent=Silver) on the top half & Blue (Azure=Blue) on the bottom half)
a lion passant gules - (Means the Top half of the Shield has a Red (Gules=Red) lion standing on 3 legs (passant))
an eagle displayed of the first - (Means an Eagle with outstretched Wings (Displayed) & colored Silver (Of the 1st=1st color mentioned, which was Silver (Argent)) is to go on the bottom half)

CREST (Helmet) INTERPRETATION:
On a Torse of the colors - (Means the next thing deScribed will go upon a cloth wreath (Torse) of 6 twists, alternating between the primary tinctures)
a Vol - (Means the Silver (Argent=Silver) colored (the Color wasn't DeScribed, so Silver (1st color mentioned) is assumed), upraised wings that are conjoined at the base (a Vol) is affixed, by the Torse (together with the Mantling), to the Helmet, which is drawn in Profile with the Visor closed, or with no Visor nor Grilles - the kind used by a "Bürgerliche" (Esquire/Commoner/Citizen))
